"Those in power must always be watched" Those words were spoken by Frank Serpico, someone who truly knows about corruption in government.  Citizens, we must be diligent in questioning both elected officials and bureaucrats......after all, it is our tax dollars that pay their salaries.

America is a democracy....we have a right to question government at all levels and speak with unfettered criticism.....When the time comes that we fear the government, then it will be time for change.

Opposition to I-95 toll plan in Virginia continues to rise

Opposition to I-95 toll plan continues to rise. The Governor says that it is a way to raise revenue without raising taxes........Citizens, our Governor needs to go back for a Civics refresher course.

Taxes and Fees are ways in which governments raise money to cover their operating expenses. Consequently, they are one in the same.......

VDOT needs to look for ways to save money....Cut the fat in their spending and not force more taxes and fees on the citizens......

Citizens, we must take control.............

Army sergeant defends skeet-shooting gold

Vincent Hancock, a 23-year-old sergeant in the U.S. Army, won his second straight Olympic gold medal in skeet shooting Wednesday – the second skeet gold medal for the Americans at this Olympics.
Hancock bolstered his impressive Olympic resume with a score of 148 in London
