Gun Safety Bill in Senate Will Exclude Assault Weapons Ban

Citizens, it appears that the Assault Rifle Ban 2013........is dead on arrival......Various liberals in Congress sought to use tragedy as an excuse to usurp the Constitution and restrict the rights of law abiding citizens.........

Democrats in the Senate are conceding that the votes are just not there for another assault rifle ban like the one passed in 1994..........

Citizens, the fight is not over, rest assured that the left will not stop and will continue to push anti-gun legislation at every opportunity they can.  Remember, this fight is not over, we must resist restrictions on magazine capacities and other anti-gun legislation...........

Sandy Hook gunman reportedly compiled massive spreadsheet on previous killings

Connecticut State police investigators reveal that Sandy Hook Shooter Adam Lanza compiled a massive list of previous shootings.  Investigators note that the list was both lengthy and precise, probably taking years to compile.

With that being said, there has been a rush to many firearms laws in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting.  I do not believe my rights to own firearms and high-capacity magazines should be restricted because of the actions of a deranged retarded individual.

Lanza was a sick individual indeed and his mother was a failed parent.  Who in their right mind would give unfettered access to deadly firearms to a moron such as Lanza.

I refuse to surrender my Second Amendment rights in any way, shape or form because of the actions of a deranged idiot and a failed parent.

Citizens, we must resist any gun control legislation, contact your elected officials..............

Governors of "gun friendly" states invite arms and ammo makers

Numerous governors of several states, notably Texas, have contacted arms and ammo companies and are inviting them to relocate.  This is in direct response to states that are enacting strict firearm and anti-gun control legislation.

Beretta.....Colt and Mossberg have been contacted and asked if they would like to relocate to more "gun friendly" environments.........

I commend these offers and can certainly understand why a business would not want to exist in a state that restricts its citizens second amendment rights........

Citizens, we welcome these overtures and hope the companies will accept them........

Texas bill would block police from enforcing new federal gun laws

This is the best piece of legislation that I have seen since the tragedy in Connecticut unfolded several months ago.  The tragic events in December have brought forth a plethora of new anti-gun laws.

For the most part, these anti-gun laws restrict ownership and the rights of law abiding citizens.

The folks in Texas are spot on.  We don't needs idiots in Washington dictating to  the citizens on issues like so-called assault rifles and magazine capacities.  Texans  historically go big and on this issue I commend them for their efforts.


Citizens, we must resist new anti-firearms legislation.  Remember the second amendment and support the National Rifle Association.

High capacity magazine manufacturer threatens to leave Colorado

Magpul, which employs some 200 people directly and supports about 400 jobs through subcontractors, expects to contribute nearly $85 million to Colorado's economy this year.

In the wake of pending legislation that would limit magazine capacities to 15 rounds are less, Magpul has chosen to stand it's ground.  The current wave of anti-firearms legislation continues across our great nation.

Politicians are using the tragedy in Connecticut to push their anti Second Amendment agenda down the throats of legal and law abiding citizens.

Citizens, we commend Magpul for their stand on this issue.

Bipartisan immigration deal in the works

It appears a deal is in the works concerning Immigration reform.  Washington politicians are trying to reach a deal that would allow the 12 million or so illegals a pathway to citizenship.

Immigration reform has been a problem in this country for many years. Washington has affirmed that it controls immigration policy and that the various states that suffer the most are basically powerless.

My problem with any immigration deal is that these people entered the United States illegally and broke the law.  So now we reward them with an opportunity to become legal?  I think this is wrong, there must be some kind of accountability to these people.  Just because they are here now, we should not forget that they broke the law in getting here.

Citizens, we must take control.

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin is a punk. After the tragedy in Connecticut, he quickly changed his tune as a gun supporter..........We certainly don't need the likes of him in politics......Spineless individuals that claim to be defenders of the second amendment...but cut and run at the first sign of trouble.........
